About 30 miles north of Charleston, WV, nestled in the hills of Roane County lies Still Meadows Farm.

This 65-acre working farm boasts a greenhouse, garden center, and gift and craft shop. You may also catch a glimpse of a cow, horse, sheep or donkey who also reside on the farm.

The original house remains which is over 100 years old. It has been through many renovations but still has the original stone fireplace and hand-hewn logs as its foundation.

Owners Stan and Janet Smith acquired the farm over 10 years ago and added the greenhouse business not long after that. The greenhouse features a large host of plants in the spring and fall. This includes annuals, perennials, vegetables, hanging baskets and potted plants. They have also recently added trees and shrubbery.

The gift shop and craft store was added in the fall of 2003 and features many WV products and food items. They have locally made wooden furniture such as rocking chairs and also feature many grapevine products along with primitives.
